Biography
Fred Johnson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Johnson kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Adam and Evelyne" (1949), the Alastair Sim dramatic adaptation "A Christmas Carol" (1951) and "Martin Luther" (1953) with Niall MacGinnis. He also appeared in "Black Glove" (1954). He continued to act in productions like the comedy "Happy Ever After" (1954) with David Niven, "Lust For Life" (1956) and the Peggy Cummins drama "The March Hare" (1956). He also appeared in the adaptation "The Curse of Frankenstein" (1957) with Peter Cushing. Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in the action picture "Sea Fury" (1958) with Stanley Baker, the horror feature "Horror Hotel" (1960) with Patricia Jessel and "The Brides of Dracula" (1960). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Young Cassidy" (1965) with Rod Taylor. Johnson more recently acted in the John Philip Law action film "Von Richthofen and Brown" (1971).
